Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

About the role

We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping patients improve their quality of life through occupational therapy interventions.

Responsibilities

• Assist Occupational Therapists in developing and implementing care plans for patients
• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Conduct therapy sessions in various settings such as clinics, medical imaging departments, home health, and acute care facilities

Qualifications

• Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred
• Familiarity with occupational health practices
• Ability to provide compassionate patient care
• Previous experience in a clinical setting is advantageous
