Responsibilities
- Utilization of appropriate Occupational Therapy Interventions to produce expected outcomes.
- Utilization of appropriate and timely documentation.
- Communicates progress and status to participants, PACE IDT members and contracted health professionals as needed.
- Adheres to professional code of ethics and state licensure laws.
- Works within Supervision guidelines of Occupational Therapy Assistant in accordance to state licensure laws.
- Keeps work area and equipment clean and orderly by maintaining and practicing department policies and procedures regarding safety and infection control.
- Performs as member of PACE Rehabilitation team through joint interventions, communication, quality assurance programs and meetings.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited, Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Licensed by the state of Iowa.
- Preferred Certification/Registration: Membership in professional associations desirable.
- Maintains current CPR status.
- Maintains current Mandatory Child/Adult Abuse Reporter status.
