Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients with a range of physical, emotional, and cognitive impairments
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patients' strengths, weaknesses, and needs
• Design and implement occupational therapy interventions to improve patients' activities of daily living, cognitive function, and overall well-being
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and maintain accurate and up-to-date records
• Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers to promote healthy habits and long-term independence

Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and customer service
