Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Responsibilities
- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve residents' functional abilities and independence.
- Document patient progress accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Educate residents and caregivers on treatment techniques and home programs.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and company standards.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current Pennsylvania COTA license.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for serving the geriatric population.
- Skinny qualifications: Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or senior living experience preferred but not required.
