About the role

Provide diagnostic evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and assist patients in reaching maximum functional performance within community and daily activities.

The role involves providing preventative, rehabilitative, and pre-vocational therapy, adapting treatment to individual needs, and complying with all relevant policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments
• Design therapeutic exercises
• Instruct patients in adaptive techniques and equipment use
• Fabricate splints and adaptive devices
• Participate in home assessments and patient support groups
• Ensure accurate documentation
• Adhere to safety and confidentiality policies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy
• Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association
• Preferred experience in occupational therapy

• Strong supervisory and customer service skills
