InReach Rehab is seeking a flexible and dedicated full-time or part-time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at Bayou Bend Hospital in Franklin, LA. This role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys helping patients regain independence, improve daily function, and enhance their quality of life while working as part of a collaborative rural healthcare team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality occupational therapy services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
  • Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence.
  • Lead therapeutic interventions addressing ADLs, IADLs, strength, coordination, cognition, and safety.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate, timely clinical records.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and strategies to support continued progress.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment.
  • Collaborate with the rehabilitation team and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated, patient-centered care.
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate treatment responses to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture.

Requirements

  • Graduate of (or anticipated graduation from) an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current Louisiana OTA license (or eligibility).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent documentation and time-management skills.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and functional outcomes.
  • Interest in rural healthcare and collaborative teamwork.

Pay

Competitive wages with a monthly incentive plan. Salary based on experience.
