About the Role
The Lodge at Red Rocks is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who understands that therapy in skilled nursing is equal parts clinician, coach, detective, problem-solver, motivator, and occasionally magician. This role involves delivering occupational therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist in a supportive, collaborative environment.
What You'll Do
- Deliver occupational therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist
- Help residents regain function, independence, and confidence
- Document treatments accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, providers, and families
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning
- Improve lives every single day

- Beg people to communicate
- Wonder if leadership knows your name
- Fight uphill battles by yourself
- Feel like your clinical expertise doesn't matter
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current Colorado COTA License
- Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of skilled nursing, long-term care, and rehabilitation services
- Ability to maintain timely and accurate documentation
