About the role
The role involves providing care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic, and other physically-related disorders under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. Responsibilities include utilizing the rehab process to promote and restore optimal health and well-being of the patient.
Responsibilities
- Provides care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic, and other physically-related disorders requiring strengthening, modalities, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and training in activities of daily living.
- Utilizes the rehab process to promote and restore optimal health and well-being of the patient.
- Participates in professional responsibilities such as documentation, program development, teaching, and enhancement of clinical skills.
Requirements
- Associates Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
- BLS through the American Heart Association.
- Occupational Therapy Assistant license in UT.
- Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient, or inpatient rehab units preferred.
- Ability to perform basic treatments of orthopedic, neurological, medical, and psychiatric patients.
- Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR).
Qualifications

Pay
The posted compensation range is $24.13 - $36.51 /hour, reflecting the lowest to highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Schedule
Shift: Monday-Thursday, 9am-6:30pm. The schedule is subject to change.
