About the role

Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services in the West side of Salt Lake Valley that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Meditation and appointment reminders
• Assistance with grooming and bathing
• Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
• Alzheimer’s and dementia care
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner

Requirements

• Competitive pay to start between $17.00 - $18.00 an hour for a CNA
• Shifts on weekends pay an extra dollar an hour
• Flexible schedule
• Full-time and part-time hours
• Full-time and part-time medical benefits that include health insurance, dental, vision, and telehealth
• Mileage reimbursement
• Hourly pay during time in between shifts
• Up to 40 hours a year of Paid Time Off
• Early access to wages before time of paycheck

• Ongoing training courses
• Possess a valid driver’s license, auto insurance and registration
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Qualifications

• Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
