Certified Nursing Assistant - Neuro ICU - Full-Time

About the Role

This position supports patient care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) environment, assisting licensed nursing staff with routine patient activities and clerical tasks in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient admission, transfer, and discharge processes, including preparing rooms and ensuring patient belongings accompany them.
• Transport stable patients safely while maintaining confidentiality and security.
• Perform unit-specific patient care tasks, monitor patient conditions, and report significant changes promptly.
• Support in maintaining a clean, organized environment by managing supplies and equipment.
• Respond to emergencies, patient call lights, and communicate effectively with team members across shifts.
• Adapt care methods to meet patients' physical, psychosocial, and developmental needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience in patient care within an acute care setting is preferred.

Schedule

Work hours are from 7PM to 7AM, full-time role.
