About The Intensive Care Unit

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a specialized section of our hospital that provides comprehensive and continuous care for critically ill patients who can benefit from treatment. Montrose Regional Health's ICU combines the latest in healthcare technology with a highly qualified and trained staff to manage critical care patients during their greatest time of need.

Responsibilities

  • Work as a direct patient caregiver under the supervision of professional clinical staff.

Requirements

  • Certification in the State of Colorado following completion of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) course.
  • At least 3 months of experience after completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant course.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required upon hire.
  • Completion of all assigned ECG courses and cross-training to the Telemetry Desk required within 9 months of hire.
  • Ability to make appropriate decisions based on fact and knowledge.
