Certified Nursing Assistant - Long Term Care (Full-Time, Night Shift, Weekends)

About the role

Join our not-for-profit organization committed to providing over 100 years of quality housing and services to seniors in a Christian environment. As a Nursing Assistant (NA), you will deliver resident-centered nursing care and assistance with daily living activities under RN supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing
• Record and monitor vital signs
• Offer psychosocial support to residents
• Assist with transfers and range of motion exercises
• Support residents during meals to ensure a positive dining experience
• Implement infection prevention protocols
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to nursing staff
• Assist with housekeeping, laundry, wellness, and recreational programs
• Participate in organizational committees as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred; minimum age 16
• Must obtain or hold current CNA certification as required by the state
• Ongoing competency testing and continuing education (at least 12 hours annually)
• State registration or certification as applicable
• May require valid driver’s license and medical clearance for driving responsibilities
