About the role
Join a not-for-profit organization committed to providing quality housing and care to seniors in a Christian environment. As a Nursing Assistant (NA), you will serve as a caregiver in long-term care, providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and vital signs
- Provide psychosocial support and assist with transfers and range of motion exercises
- Support residents with meal assistance and documentation
- Communicate resident needs effectively
- Aid with housekeeping, laundry, wellness, and recreational activities
- Participate in organizational committees as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum age 16
- Prior clinical experience preferred
- Must obtain or hold CNA certification
- Complete annual competency testing and maintain continuing education credits
- State certification or registration as required
- Valid driver’s license if applicable

- Knowledge of infection control, resident care, and documentation
- Ability to communicate effectively
