Certified Nursing Assistant FT-AM

About the Role

Covenant Living, the nation’s sixth-largest nonprofit senior living provider, is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to help fulfill our common purpose: to create joy and peace of mind for our residents and their families by creating a better way of life. Positions are available in assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care.

In this role, you will report directly to the nurse manager and may also take direction from licensed nurses on duty or other supervisory staff. You will provide direct care to residents on a daily basis, assist with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting residents with basic personal care such as bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toilet activities, grooming, feeding, and transportation/transfer
• Maintaining resident rooms in a clean and orderly manner, including light housekeeping, changing linen, making beds, tidying personal spaces, and cleaning bathrooms
• Handling resident laundry, ensuring clothes are marked, clean, mended, ironed, and put away, and notifying supervisors of clothing needs
• Preparing residents for meals, assisting with serving meals, and feeding residents
• Potential cross-training in Assisted Living

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Completion and passing of an approved Nursing Assistant program in the State
• Listed on the State’s Health Nursing Assistant Registry

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $19.13 - $25.43 per hour. Numerous factors, including job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and internal/external equity, are considered in determining the actual offered rate.
