Responsibilities

Performs patient care/service activities/procedures as outlined by the state board of nursing and within the Nevada Nurse Practice Act. Duties include assisting licensed nursing staff with assigned tasks, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Requirements

• Completion of education/experience necessary to obtain CNA Certification from Nevada State Board of Nursing
• Current CNA license in the State of Nevada
• Current BLS certification
• Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department

Qualifications

• Education: Completion of education/experience necessary to obtain CNA Certification from Nevada State Board of Nursing
• Licenses/Certifications: Current CNA license in the State of Nevada, Current BLS certification
• Knowledge/Skills: Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department
