Certified Nursing Assistant - Float Pool
About the role
The Certified Nursing Assistant provides assistance in the safe and effective nursing care of patients in a variety of age groups which may include neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and/or geriatric which is consistent with the provisions of Chapter 246-841 WAC. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the CNA ensures the comfort and safety of patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the RN
- Administer medications as ordered by the physician
- Provide emotional and physical support to patients and families
- Ensure patient rooms are clean and organized
- Follow infection control protocols
Requirements
- Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Experience in an acute care facility preferred, or related work experience

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
