Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Transitional Care (R7)
About the role
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Transitional Care (R7) position is available for a limited time. MaineHealth is offering sign-on bonuses for Clinical Nursing Assistants (CNA): 0-1 years of experience eligible for $2,000 (full time), and 1+ years of experience eligible for $4,000 (full time).
Responsibilities
- Takes vital signs and assists patients with basic hygiene and activities of daily living.
- Performs a variety of direct and indirect care duties under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse.
- Assists in the administration of nursing care to designated patients.
- Considers the special needs and behaviors of specific patient populations.
Requirements
- Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant required.
- Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
- CNA experience 0-6 months.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
