About the role
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A) to provide person-centered care to senior residents, ensuring their dignity and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as hygiene, dressing, transfers, and transportation.
- Support dining needs, including escorting, serving, feeding, and meal cleanup.
- Perform housekeeping tasks like bed making, laundry, and room cleaning as requested.
- Lead and support life enrichment activities, encouraging participation in programs and outings.
- Take vital signs and record weights as required.
- Participate in training, education, and other assigned duties.
Qualifications and Skills
- State Certification as a Nursing Assistant, with CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications.
- Preferred two years of healthcare experience.
- Proficiency in English, ability to follow directions, and work independently.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs., and push 250 lbs.; use proper body mechanics.
The role requires active physical work, long hours, and weekend availability. No travel is typically needed, but occasional training and education travel may occur.
