Responsibilities

• Perform various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse.
• Carry out patient care activities within the limits of the CNA position.
• Do not administer medications or therapy.
• Do not assume independent responsibility for patient care.
• Execute duties in accordance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent (preferred).
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) where required by state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
• Experience: None required; 2–3 years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.
