About the role

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs various patient care activities and accommodative services under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse, following PAM Health policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care activities within the limits of the position.
• Do not administer medications or therapy.
• Do not assume independent responsibility for patient care.
• Accomplish job duties consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state.
• Current BLS certification required.

Qualifications

• No experience required; a minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.
