Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Part Time - Days - Eventide Williamsburg

Eventide Williamsburg in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team.

About the Role

This position enhances the living experience for Eventide’s seniors, residents, and clients by performing care activities and related services in compliance with comprehensive care plans. The role contributes to the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of seniors through respectful, professional, and personable interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation, and continence.
• Assists with senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers, and orientation of new employees.
• Follows department protocol for submission of completed documentation.
• Prioritizes assignments and adjusts throughout the shift to meet changing needs, including responding to call lights.
• Performs work duties within the assigned work environment, regardless of personal preference.
• Follows through on comprehensive care/service plans for each individual.
• Complies with HIPAA regulations to safeguard Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Implements activities for seniors/clients.
• Prepares, plates, and serves meals, snacks, and other requested foods.
• Assists with dining room cleanup and performs housekeeping and laundry duties as needed.

Requirements

• CNA certification in good standing, demonstrated by inclusion on the Nebraska State Registry (required).
• MA-40 certification preferred; if utilized, CPR certification is required.
• All certifications must be kept up to date at the employee’s expense.
• Must meet Eventide’s vaccination requirements.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months of experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Skills

• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English, including medical terminology related to the job.
• Physical ability to safely perform job duties, including unrestricted lift/push/pull of 50+ pounds, with strength and agility as determined by Eventide.
• Vision and hearing within normal limits (with or without correction).

Schedule

6:00 AM – 10:00 AM, including weekend and holiday rotation.

Pay

Competitive starting pay range of $18–$20.16 per hour, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are available for select positions.
