Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - P2C Med/Surg Telemetry
About the role
P2C is a fast-paced 18-bed medical-surgical telemetry unit focusing on neurological and vascular care. It specializes in stroke patients and is certified as a Comprehensive Stroke Center. The unit offers telemetry monitoring for both surgical and medical patients.
Responsibilities
- Takes vital signs
- Assists patients with basic hygiene and activities of daily living
- Performs various service duties and technical tasks under the supervision of registered nurses
- Adapts to the special needs and behaviors of specific patient populations
Requirements
Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible for the sign-on bonus. Former MaineHealth members must be separated from employment for more than 6 months to be eligible.
Qualifications
- Must be certified as a Nursing Assistant by the State of Maine and be on the State of Maine Registry
- Completion of a six-week or equivalent course

Pay
Sign-on bonuses available for Clinical Nursing Assistants: 0-1 years of experience eligible for $2,000 (full-time); 1+ years of experience eligible for $4,000 (full-time).
Schedule
Full-time, night shift 3-4, 12-hour shifts. Weekends required.
