Certified Nursing Assistant I or II- P2C Med/Surg Telemetry
About the role
P2C is a fast-paced 18-bed medical-surgical telemetry unit focusing on neurological and vascular care. It specializes in stroke patients and is certified as a Comprehensive Stroke Center. The unit offers telemetry monitoring for both surgical and medical patients.
Responsibilities
- Takes vital signs and assists patients with basic hygiene and activities of daily living.
- Performs various service duties and technical tasks under the supervision of Registered Professional Nurses.
- Adapts to the special needs and behaviors of specific patient populations.
Requirements
Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible for the sign-on bonus. Former MaineHealth members must be separated from employment for more than 6 months to be eligible.
Qualifications
- Must be certified as a Nursing Assistant by the State of Maine and be on the State of Maine Registry.
- Completion of a six-week or equivalent course is required.

Pay
Sign-on bonuses available for Clinical Nursing Assistants: $2,000 for 0-1 years of experience and $4,000 for 1+ years of experience. Bonuses are prorated for part-time hires and are not available for per diem hires or former MaineHealth members who have not been separated from employment for more than 6 months.
Schedule
Part-time, day shift with 2, 12-hour shifts per week, weekends required.
