About the Role
Ten Broeck Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking Full-Time and Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) for day (7a-3p), evening (3p-11p), and overnight (11p-7a) shifts.
- Full-Time 7a-3p: $1,500 Sign-On Bonus
- Full-Time 3p-11p: $3,000 Sign-On Bonus
- Full-Time 11p-7a: $1,000 Sign-On Bonus
We are located at 1 Commons Drive, Lake Katrine, NY 12449.
Pay
Pay Rate: $18.00-$25.00/hour with differentials offered.

Responsibilities
- Performs activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, assistance in nutrition and hydration, locomotion/ambulation, feeding, incontinence care, toileting, oral hygiene, skin care, grooming (e.g., comb/brush hair, nail care, shaving)
- Provides bowel and bladder assistance, maintenance rehab, proper understanding of least restrictive device regulations, and proper utilization of restraint devices
- Provides for residents with special needs related to their diagnosis (e.g., behavioral issues, splints)
- Reports all cases of alleged violations involving mistreatment, neglect, or abuse, including injuries of unknown sources
- Documents resident care accurately and completely at point of care using a computerized medical record system
- Notes resident changes of condition and reports same to LPN/RN
- Answers call bells in a timely and polite manner
- Assists in provision of post-mortem care
- Performs vital signs as directed
- Reports on duty, listens to and/or obtains report from Charge Nurse, receives assignment
- Makes two-hour and PRN rounds on all residents
- Keeps unit neat and clean; straightens nourishment station, clean and dirty utility room, and other areas as assigned
- Ensures the resident is out of bed, dressed, and ready to participate in activities of choice
- Provides assistance with ADLs during activities if necessary
- Assists residents to participate in individual activities of choice (e.g., set up of equipment, positioning assistance, providing sufficient lighting and space)
