Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Med Surg | Day Shift

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Med Surg team. Responsibilities

• Assist with unit/patient care needs under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
• Have full access to patient health information.
• May have access to medication storage areas (excluding controlled substances) as related to job responsibilities.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required (unless a current high school student participating in the CATS program for NC).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required through American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Listed with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation in good standing.
• Physical requirements: possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test (including bending, stooping, standing, and sitting for extended periods).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
