Certified Nursing Assistant, (CNA) - Home Health

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for part-time or per-diem home health visits in Rockingham and Alamance counties.

Responsibilities

• Provide home health aide, skilled nursing, and rehabilitative care to clients to help them remain at home.
• Perform activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, range of motion exercises, transfers, and oral feeding.
• Assist with vital sign checks including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
• Manage home environments by performing tasks like laundry, meal preparation, bed making, and assisting with ambulation.
• Administer medication as directed.

Requirements

• At least one year of work experience.
• Listed on the North Carolina Nurse Aide Registry and in good standing.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination.
• Meet all state requirements.
