Eventide Williamsburg in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on a 6a-2p shift, including weekend and holiday rotation.
About the Role
The Certified Nursing Assistant enhances the living experience for Eventide’s seniors, residents, and clients by performing care activities and related services in compliance with comprehensive care plans. You will contribute to the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of seniors through respectful, professional, and personable interactions.
Responsibilities
- Provides assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation, and continence.
- Assists with senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers, and orientation of new employees.
- Follows department protocol for submission of completed documentation.
- Prioritizes assignments, adjusting throughout the shift to meet changing needs, including responding to call lights.
- Performs work duties within the assigned work environment, regardless of personal preference.
- Follows through on the comprehensive care plan/service plan for each individual.
- Complies with HIPAA regulations to safeguard Protected Health Information (PHI).
- Implements activities for seniors/clients.
- Prepares, plates, and serves meals, snacks, and other requested foods.
- Assists with cleanup of the dining room and performs housekeeping and laundry duties as needed.
Requirements
- CNA certification in good standing, demonstrated by inclusion on the Nebraska State Registry (required).
- MA-40 certification preferred; if utilized, CPR certification is required.
- All certifications must be kept up to date at the employee’s expense.
- Must meet Eventide’s vaccination requirements.
Qualifications
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English, including medical terminology.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- 6 months of experience as an aide or caregiver (preferred).
- At least 18 years of age.
- Physical ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ pounds, demonstrating strength and agility.
- Vision and hearing within normal limits (with or without correction).
Pay
Competitive starting pay range of $18–$20.16 per hour, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are available for select positions.
