About the role
Valley View Manor is a Residential Health Care Facility dedicated to providing high-quality care through continuous improvement and the involvement of an interdisciplinary team and the entire community. The facility aims to respect and treat each resident, family, and staff member with kindness, dignity, and respect.
Responsibilities
- Providing direct patient care in accordance with state, federal, and facility guidelines
- Providing general nursing care to patients in accordance with the facility’s nursing policy and procedure
- Addressing problems identified in the patient care plan
Qualifications & Skills
- Current CNA certification through Minnesota
- Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form
- Ability to interact with a variety of people and foster a team philosophy
- Ability to negotiate and interact effectively with staff, patients, families, and professional/regulatory agents
