About the role
We are looking for a caring, dependable Certified Nursing Assistant to join our pediatric and adult long-term care team. You will provide hands-on personal care to residents, help them with daily routines, and be the heartbeat of our nursing floor. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, and oral hygiene
- Help residents with meals, hydration, and feeding as needed
- Assist with transfers, ambulation, and repositioning
- Obtain and document vital signs, weights, and intake and output
- Observe and promptly report changes in resident condition to the nurse
- Respond to call lights quickly and with a caring attitude
- Follow care plans, infection control protocols, and safety standards
- Document care provided accurately each shift
Requirements
- Current, valid CNA license in the state of practice
- Completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide Training program
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Long-term care experience preferred — new graduates welcome
- Genuine compassion for elderly and medically complex residents
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
