About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Seattle. The CNA will provide basic patient care under the supervision of registered nurses in a fast-paced long-term care (LTC) environment.

Responsibilities

• Observes, documents, and reports changes in patient activity and/or symptoms such as vital signs, respiration, discomfort, intake, output, weight, and bleeding.
• Assist with mobility and range of motion exercises.
• Provide basic wound care and dressing changes as directed by the Registered Nurse.
• Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, including moving patients to and from bed to the gurney or wheelchair.
• Transports patients, patient belongings and valuables, blood products, supplies, pharmaceuticals, equipment, and specimens to and from various locations.
• Comply with all hospital policies and procedures and state and federal regulations related to patient care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current Washington state CNA license.
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire.
• Two (2) positive work references.
• Complete and pass a background check and drug test.
• Availability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures.
• Minimum of 18 months of hospital experience.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Pay

$27-$30/hour

Schedule

Per diem, 8-hour shifts (day or night shifts available).
