About the role
Newark Rehabilitation is a thriving community dedicated to providing comprehensive care that promotes health, independence, and well-being. We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who can provide direct patient care, assist with ADLs, document care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses, including vital signs, personal care, and mobility assistance
- Absorb and document patient care and concerns in a timely and accurate manner
- Participate in resident care conferences and contribute to individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
Requirements
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Ohio
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients with assistance as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
