Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, serving meals, assisting with feeding, ambulating, turning, positioning, and toileting.
- Maintain exceptionally clean, safe, and organized living conditions for residents, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic environment.
- Accurately and thoroughly complete all required reports and records in a timely manner, documenting resident care, observations, and any changes in condition.
- Proactively observe and report any changes in residents' physical, mental, or emotional condition to the Unit Manager or charge nurse promptly.
- Absorb residents with mobility, transfers, and exercises as directed by care plans.
- Engage residents in meaningful social interactions and activities to promote their overall well-being.
- Collaborate effectively with nurses, therapists, and other care team members to ensure a holistic approach to resident care.
- Other duties as assigned by the Unit Manager, Director of Nursing, or Administrator, contributing to the smooth operation and excellent care provided by our facility.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as a vital part of a collaborative team environment.
- Basic computer knowledge for charting and communication.
- Previous experience in a long-term care setting is preferred but not required; we welcome new graduates and those looking to enter the field!

License & Certification

- Compliance with all state licensure/certification/registration requirements.
