Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

About the role

We are currently seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. In this role, you will play an important part in providing high-quality care and daily support to our residents while working alongside a dedicated healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Take and record patient vital signs, lifting, moving and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to nurse management.
• Ask appropriate questions to clarify situations.
• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Demonstrate the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a long-term care setting is highly preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA.
