About the role

Allure of Zion is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide hands-on care and support residents with daily living activities. This role is essential to ensuring resident safety, dignity, and overall well-being in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with meals, hydration, and nourishment
• Provide personal care including bathing, toileting, grooming, and oral hygiene
• Support ambulation, transfers, turning, and positioning
• Measure and record vital signs, weights, and intake/output
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs
• Observe and report changes in condition to nursing staff
• Complete accurate and timely documentation
• Maintain resident dignity and confidentiality (HIPAA compliant)
• Follow all company policies and regulatory guidelines
• Participate in ongoing education and training

Requirements

• Current Illinois CNA certification required
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• CPR certification required
• Long-term care experience preferred (but not required)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and bend throughout the shift
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 100 pounds
• Visual and auditory ability for effective communication
• Moderate noise level work environment

Schedule

• Day Shift (AM): 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Evening Shift (PM): 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Night Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
