Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - 5 Medical - 0.6 FTE - 12hr Day Shift
About the role
We are hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the 5 Medical unit, which operates 0.6 FTE (24 hours per week), Monday through Friday, 12-hour Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), with every other weekend rotation and holiday grouping.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the staff and patients on the unit
- Work independently providing resource information and general nursing care to patients
- Complete clerical tasks related to regulatory annual requirements, audits, and patient processes
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) - active or expired on registry
- Strong interest in customer service, ability to multitask, and work independently with little supervision
- Passionate about providing excellent patient care and demonstrating compassion at the end of life
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Basic computer skills for completing clerical tasks

Pay
$18.00/hr, with potential for increases based on experience
