Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) $1,000 Sign on Bonus

Essential Functions

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs
• Affords assistance with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care
• Transports food trays and offers assistance with feeding
• Offers assistance with range of motion exercises
• Ensures personal care and comfort
• Facilitates movement to wheelchair or activity areas
• Offers assistance with ambulation for short distances within the facility
• Collects and records vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed
• Delivers direct and indirect resident care services
• Maintains communication with residents and their families, as well as facility staff

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Passes a state-issued exam for certification as a CNA in the state of Missouri
• Has six months of experience in a long-term care environment
• Maintains a working email address and phone number for employer communication
• Can react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
• Can communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and facility staff
