Certified Nursing Aide CNA

About the role

We are currently searching for Certified Nursing Assistants, CNAs to join our friendly, caring and supportive team at Guttenberg Care Center. Conveniently located for candidates from Prairie du Chien, WI, Elkader, Garnavillo, Edgewood, Strawberry Point, Monona, and surrounding communities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Guttenberg Care Center by performing Activities of Daily Living.
• Observe changes in condition and ensure a safe environment.
• Maintain education and provide support to residents.

Requirements

• Minimum requirement: Unencumbered State of Iowa Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA certificate, or certificate of completion from a State of Iowa Accredited Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Prior Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA experience is preferable.

Qualifications

• Knowledge, skills, and attention to detail are essential for residents' comfort and safety.

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Attention to detail and safety awareness.
