Certified Nurses Aide CNA

Job Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide patient/resident care as required under the direct supervision of the licensed nurse. The CNA at Geneva Lake Manor completes assigned tasks to ensure timely, efficient, and safe patient/resident care. Communication and interactions with patients, residents, families, and other health team members is an essential component of this position.

Compensation

• CNA - Base hourly wage: $19.00 – $22.28 per hour dependent on experiencePLUS shift differentials - $2.00 per hour PM shift and $2.50 per hour NOC shift
• CNA Weekend Warrior - Base hourly wage: $19.00 – $22.28 per hour dependent on experience
• Select Level: base hourly wage + $5.00/hour (every other weekend)
• Pro Level: base hourly wage + $7.00/hour (3 weekends per month)
• Elite Level: base hourly wage + $10.00/hour (4 consecutive weekends; 5th weekend off)

Key Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing data collection on all patients/residents under the direction of the Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Implements plan of care developed by the Registered Nurse based on patient/resident physical, psychosocial, cultural, ethnic and religious/spiritual needs.
• Provides direct patient/resident care and reports condition and changes to RN or LPN.
• Demonstrates time management and prioritization of tasks.
• Documents results of patient/resident care within established policies, procedures and scope of practice.
• Nutritional care
• Effective communication with residents and family
• Completes all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Required:
• Must be in good standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity
• Able to meet physical and job-related requirements
• Must be English literate and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Preferred:
• Previous hospital or long-term care or skilled nursing experience
• CPR Certified
