Certified Nurse's Assistant- Home Health Visits

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Nurses Aide (CNA) for a per-diem opportunity to complete home health visits to clients in Davidson County and Williamson County. As a CNA, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team providing home health aide, skilled nursing, and rehabilitative care, enabling clients to receive medical care at home.

Schedule

• Per-diem, approximately 10 visits per week
• Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Requirements

• At least one year of work experience
• Listed on the TN Nurse Aide Registry, active and in good standing
• Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
• Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
• Criminal background check
• Meet all state requirements
• Access to reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing, grooming, and toileting
• Nail care
• Range of motion exercises
• Transfers and use of mechanical lifting devices
• Oral feeding
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home management tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance
