Certified Nurse Aide, CNA - Home Health Visits

About the role

BAYADA Home Health is seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for a per diem opportunity completing home health visits to adult and geriatric clients in Chatham and Lee counties, North Carolina. The CNA will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team providing certified nurse aide, skilled nursing, and rehabilitative care, enabling clients to receive medical care at home. BAYADA is celebrating 50 years of compassion, excellence, and reliability.

Requirements

• Current and active listing on the North Carolina Nurse Aide Registry in good standing
• Access to reliable transportation
• At least one year of work experience as a CNA
• Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
• Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
• Completed criminal background check
• Meet all state requirements for CNA practice

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living
• Bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care
• Perform range of motion exercises and assist with transfers, including use of mechanical lifting devices
• Check vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration)
• Assist with ambulation
