Certified Nurse Aide, Home Health Visits

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for a per-diem opportunity to complete home health visits to clients in Lexington and/or Richland counties, South Carolina. As a CNA, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team providing home health aide, skilled nursing, and rehabilitative care to clients, enabling them to receive necessary medical care at home.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing and grooming
• Toileting and nail care
• Range of motion exercises
• Transfers and use of mechanical lifting devices
• Oral feeding
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance

Requirements

• At least one year of verifiable work experience
• Reliable transportation
• Listed on the South Carolina Nurse Aide Registry, active and in good standing
• Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
• Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
• Complete a criminal background check
• Meet all state requirements
