About the role

Provides direct primary care health services to LCDF patients within the scope of laws and regulations.

• Cultural competence with Hispanic population
• Basic office procedures relevant to contracted primary care duties
• Effective communication and patient education skills

Qualifications

• Licensed by the NM Board of Nursing to practice, or eligible for licensure
• Board Certification in a primary care specialty
• DEA certification
• NM Board of Pharmacy certification
• Current NM Driver's License and current automobile insurance
• Graduate from a Nurse Practitioner program
• Additional training in Primary Care preferred but not required (e.g., diabetes education, women's health)
