Requirements
- Experience as defined by CNM Allied Health Credentialing policy, including care of a normal laboring patient and recognition of deviations requiring supervising physician consultation and/or management.
- Provide evidence of back-up supervision by an obstetrician fully credentialed at Parkview.
- Attend Association of Women's Health Onstetric and Neonatal Nurses advanced fetal monitoring training every two years.
- Credentials through Medical staff, initial and on-going.
- Experience and evidence of assisting in a minimum of 25 cesarian section surgical procedures prior to performing the role.
- Perform the first assistant role at least 10 times per year.
Qualifications
- Current and valid California State RN license.
- Valid license to practice as a CNM in the State of CA.
