Certified Nurse Midwife, OB/GYN Paramus, Full Time, Day

In a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment, contributes professional and clinical expertise to assigned patient populations to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provides evidence-based comprehensive care for women, including routine obstetric care and management of routine non-surgical gynecologic care for patients. Obstetric care includes antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care for pregnant patients. Assumes direct responsibility for implementing care plan.
• Participates and/or leads quality assessment and performance improvement activities.
• Acts as a liaison between the patient, family, and physicians.
• Assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to assure consistent and appropriate patient care for this patient population.
• Works collaboratively with the Medical Director/Chairman and/or Collaborating Physician.
• Serves on-call and/or weekend rotations as required.

Requirements

• Board certified and credentialed as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the State of New Jersey with a primary focus of education and training as a Certified Nurse Midwife.
• Obtain a New Jersey CDS and federal DEA certificate upon employment.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical practice experience in a related field.
• Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, and creative problem solving.
• Participation in pertinent professional and/or specialty organizations preferred.

Pay

Salary range: $142,900 - $157,200. Generous wRVU production incentive. Ability to earn up to 5% quality incentive.
