Certified Nurse Midwife - Community Hospital Westfield
About the role
Community Health Network is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife, to join our OB ED team at Community Hospital Westfield located in Westfield, IN.
Responsibilities
- Evaluation and management of pregnant patients >16 weeks gestation seeking urgent/emergent obstetrical care
- Evaluation and management of postpartum patients up to 6 weeks postpartum
- Ability to independently and rapidly identify and manage emergent obstetrical and postpartum issues based on current evidence-based practice
- Advance labor with AROM
- Rounding on postpartum patients and facilitating discharges
- Rounding on laboring patients at request of the attending
- Stand-by for precipitous vaginal deliveries
Requirements
- Expertise within the specialty of OB as a certified nurse-midwife is required
- Must have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience practicing as a certified nurse-midwife
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Certified Nurse Midwife in the state of Indiana
- Current BLS certification
