About the Role
You will independently manage and provide full-scope midwifery care in our outpatient clinic, offering comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services. You will collaborate with clinical colleagues, including OB/GYNs, RNs, LCSWs, health coaches, lactation counselors, childbirth educators, and other specialists. Your responsibilities include day-to-day expertise and leadership on Labor & Delivery, triaging and caring for emergent obstetric patients, providing first-assist surgical support, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Experience in managing intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage in a hospital setting (2 years preferred)
- Effective collaboration within a dynamic OB/CNM practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Value patient preferences, choice, shared decision-making, and holistic care approaches
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (preferred, not required) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date
- Active certification with AMCBC
- Certified RN and APRN license in TN
- Preferred additional certifications in Obstetric Ultrasound, Advanced Fetal Monitoring, and/or Lactation consultation
