Responsibilities
- Provides prenatal, postpartum, and gynecological health care including: screening, health maintenance and disease prevention, management of acute and chronic gynecological conditions, and making appropriate referrals and follow-up for diagnostic and specialty services.
- Varies duties include leading monthly multidisciplinary team meetings, participating in central perinatal team leader meetings, and providing clinical support to new department members.
- Captivates care with other health team members including behavioral health staff.
- Acts as an advocate for the patient and liaison with outside agencies as appropriate.
- Provides verbal and written education and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers.
- Maintains patient records necessary for clinic reporting, billing, and quality improvement.
- Encourages to provide some care as shared medical (group) visits.
- Consults with LifeLong physicians as appropriate.
- Participates as an active member of LifeLong Clinicians Association and abides by its Code of Conduct.
- Attends clinical team meetings.
- Participates in quality performance activities and improvement initiatives.
- Might be involved in the supervision and teaching of residents, students or fellows.
Qualifications
- Current California State Licensure as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM).
- Current CPR certification.
- Current DEA license.
- Current malpractice insurance.

- Compensation: $127,504 - $151,153.60/year depending on years since licensed and pro-rated to FTE, sign-on bonus, and excellent benefits.
