About the role

Our busy midwifery practice in Salem, VA is seeking an additional provider to join our team. Qualified Candidates: Certified nurse midwife with board certification from AMCB, 2+ years midwifery practice experience preferred. Our midwifery practice collaborates with a team of six OB/GYN physicians and includes the full scope of midwifery services with hospital-based births.

Practice includes offering labor support including unmedicated labor, hydrotherapy, nitrous oxide, IV pain medication and epidurals. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be willing to support both Salem and Blacksburg offices.

Responsibilities

Join a group of experienced midwives with 1:5.5 call. Provide the full scope of midwifery services with hospital-based births.

Requirements

• Certified nurse midwife with board certification from AMCB
• 2+ years midwifery practice experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to support both Salem and Blacksburg offices

Pay
