Principle Responsibilities
- Independently provides labor support, water birth, and VBAC/TOLAC services
- Midwifery collaborative support provided by an in-house OB and maternal fetal medicine groups
- Attend approximately 40-50 births per month with three affiliated clinics
- Highlight natural birth experience providing nontraditional care in the hospital
- Follows standards for Nurse Midwifery Practice established by the American College of Nurse-Midwives and Minnesota statute
- Professional Liability insurance including tail
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Master's degree or doctoral degree in nursing or related field preferred
- Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required upon hire
- Current BLS certification with AHA, ARC or Allina in-house BLS training within 30 days of hire
- AMCB American Midwifery Certification Board upon hire required
- Physical Demands: Medium Work - Lifting up to 32 lbs occasionally, up to 25 lbs frequently
Practice Details
- Team of 16 plus CNM across the system

- Full-time position at Mercy Women's Clinic and deliveries out of Mercy Hospital

Pay Range
$130,000 to $145,000 per year
