Saint Mary Home in West Hartford, CT is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join their community. As a CNA, you will do more than assist with daily needs – you will brighten days, lift spirits, and help residents live their best lives. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Responsibilities

• Review Resident Care Plans and provide care for residents accordingly by assisting with ADLs as needed
• Provide personal care including shower/bath, shampoo, perineal care, oral hygiene, positioning, keeping nails short and clean, dressing, range of motion, and ambulation
• Ensure adaptive devices are worn
• Observe residents and report any reactions or changes in condition to the nurse
• Document care as required in the electronic medical record
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Maintain Certified Nurse Assistant (C.N.A.) certification as required by the State of CT
• Maintain C.P.R. and First Aid Training
• Maintain Dementia Care training
• OSHA MSDS safe chemical handling practices
